Smith stand up to the separatists? Thats laughable. She thinks she so clever, talking out of both sides of her mouth, enabling the separatists and pouring gasoline on their fire, while pretending she wants to fight for 'A sovereign Alberta within Canada', whatever the F that is. She has not been swayed by basic data showing very few people actually support separation, but again, data and facts don't compel Smith. She caters desperately on hands and knees to her tinfoil right wing fringe on this, and many other issues. If she wanted what was best for AB she would have stomped out this separation nonsense long ago. AB is now the nations laughingstock for even considering it. Imagine the capital pushed away from companies that want nothing to do with this self-inflicted uncertainty.

There aren't enough believers in separation to cause much division. The most likely problems are people who might vote "strategically" to send a message to Ottawa, or vote spitefully to try to make trouble (eg far left). People with the ability to attract media attention should focus on persuading people to vote for what they think will be best/least disruptive right now in today's situation.

Kenney, on the item of AB separation is an elitist who is out to lunch because he steadfastly refuses to to acknowledge the bigger picture.
