Sometimes conspiracy theories are in the eye of the beholder. Words like conspiracy theory can be used to name call. Sometimes there are conspiracy theories, like believing that certain faith groups run the world. It's a fact, not a theory, that a scrutineer checking the inputs to tabulators is not doing the same job as a scrutineer during ballot counting. And if Bill 1 makes some people feel safer and doesn't affect anyone else, why are you against it? As to vaccines, I was vaccinated against Covid 5 times so I personally favour vaccines. But there's the data from Sweden; and wondering if our own home grown emergency planning organizations might do a better job than whatever world bodies the Trudeau Liberals sided with is not a theory, it's asking for information. I expect better from The Line.

The truly annoying thing to me about the removal of electronic vote tabulators is that they are, for practical purposes, the same as the ScanTron multiple choice examination marking machines in use for the past three decades.

Anyone who has completed a multiple choice test or exam in those thirty years has almost certainly had that test paper marked by the electronic machine determining which choice we had made with our HB pencil.

I now expect APP to request that DS ban the use of these devices in all of Alberta's schools and post-secondary institutions.

Such progress. 🧐
