The independent candidate Bonnie Critchley is a rock-solid Canadian and a truly decent person. Her take on Alberta premier Danielle Smith is very wrong and greatly unfair to the premier. Her views on the local and regional matter are mostly correct. However, the Conservatives did not blow the lead - there was nothing the Conservatives could have done once Donald Trump decided to interfere in the Canadian federal election to hand the win to the Liberals, whom he correctly judged to be as amoral as he is himself. The independent candidate Bonnie Critchley's views on the federal politics is mostly myopic, and on this subject I give her a big fat Fail. As a provincial politician she may be a good one for her riding. I do not see her as being suitable to be a federal MP. I do not see that she has talents needed to quickly grasp an overview of the big picture.
