While my heart and sympathies would support the RCMp forever, and any APP derivation has serious questions to be answered regarding costs, payer, accountability and purpose, we need to remember that the US system uses 12 plus levels and agencies to do what the RCMP do in one organization. I think it may be fair to conclude that at least the management scope is WAY too broad.
